Python Programming

This course utilizes the in-browser Skill Struck Learning Platform and gives students access to the Python 1 and Python 2 courses.

Python 1

The curriculum includes coding exercises and practice on the Skill Struck platform interspersed with classroom collaboration activities, discussion points, supplemental materials, and unplugged activities. This course walks students through the basics of coding alongside other topics. This integrated approach keeps lessons diverse, and students engaged. Students work individually and as teams to build innovative and competitive coding solutions.

Python 2

Students are presented with more advanced Python concepts as they learn how to manipulate lists and handle functions. They are introduced to object-oriented programming concepts and practice building and using objects. Students will need to have completed Python 1 in order to understand Python 2.
