Keyboarding

This course utilizes the in-browser Skill Struck Learning Platform and gives students access to Type Station, a typing platform that was created with new-to-keyboarding students in mind. This course supports students in improving their typing skills with the support of each lesson, assessment, and paragraph practice opportunity. As they enhance their keyboarding skills, they will grow to be faster, more accurate, and more productive typists that experience less fatigue in their keyboarding experiences.

The course features three levels of typing lessons: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. The beginner-level lessons help students get familiar with where the keys are on their keyboard and teaches them how to utilize all their fingers - not just one. The intermediate-level lessons help students get familiar with typing out words and sentences on the keyboard.
